At present, China's medical equipment in the field of high-end respiratory health on imported products rely on more serious, has not yet formed an import substitution, the future of a certain period of imported medical equipment will continue to increase steadily, and will still be mainly high-end imaging products; exports, domestic medical equipment companies and high-value consumables companies are actively improving the technical level and product competitiveness, has achieved initial results. According to the General Administration of Customs data statistics show that in 2021 China's total foreign trade in medical equipment reached 134.94 billion U.S. dollars, of which, exports of 84.73 billion U.S. dollars. Overall, China's low-end device consumables exports have gradually entered a period of stability, growth is expected to be close to the industry growth rate; and with some head device enterprises in technology and products gradually have strong competitiveness, China's medical device exports in the future will rely more on the breakthrough of medium and high-end varieties to obtain market share, technological barriers and product value-added is expected to improve, the varieties of exported medical devices will gradually improve the structure.
