Recently, the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Reform of the Electronic Registration Management of Medical Institutions, Physicians, and Nurses", pointing out that by June 2017, all provinces will initiate electronic registration management reform Pilot; by December 2017, more than 40% of prefectures and cities in various provinces will carry out electronic registration management reform; by June 2018, electronic registration management will be fully implemented nationwide, covering all medical institutions, physicians, and nurses.
